Straightforward. Subscriptions are prepaid, so there is nothing to auto-charge — cancel by email and we simply stop issuing renewal invoices. See terms for the legal version.
Email lekha@ekarche.com from the registered email on the account. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, we issue no further invoice, the tenant drops to the free read-only tier, and your data and historical records remain available.
First-time annual subscribers may request a pro-rated refund within 7 days of the first payment; after that, and for renewals, the prepaid period is non-refundable. Monthly subscribers, where monthly is offered, run to the end of the paid month with no refund for the unused portion. The full schedule is in the terms. If you believe you were charged in error, email lekha@ekarche.com within 14 days. Refunds, where due, are returned by UPI / NEFT to the account the payment came from.
Your data stays for 60 days after cancellation so you can export it. After 60 days the account and all data are deleted, except statutory-retention rows required by the Companies Act 2013 §128.
